you could try to get a literary agent and if they are interested, they would help you submit to different publications houses. There are also lots of books out there that tell you how to effectively contact publishers.
you too huh?
try contacting scholastic, they are HUGE and always looking for new talent. Since word got out Harry Potter was rejected about 5 times I believe, they will take almost ANYTHING, not to put down your work. But if they don’t take you, you MIGHT want to invest in an agent. I’ll update when I find one of my Writer’s Digest articles, I know they have a lot on agents and how to get published.
Three routes - send it to a publishing house (very tough to get it accepted), send it to a literary agent (also tough) or try self-publishing (easy but expensive.) For the first two, don’t send the whole story. Just send the first three pages, they want to see that you can write and tell a story. Also you need to send a synopsis of the story, including how many chapters and how many pages. Also where the story is heading, this must be well written. To find the right publisher, look for a publisher that publishes teens/adult books. Same with agents.
